#CheckOutThatView at Golden Hill Farm

This weekend we’ve been staying in an old style gypsy wagon, tucked away in the heart of the North Yorkshire Moors.

I’ll be publishing a series of blog posts about our stay here, but I really must share this photograph from my late night dog walk on Friday.

We’d had a long drive and although the kids were all worn out from playing on site after we’d arrived, Betsy had been in the car then kept on a short lead while we unpacked and ate.

As the evening rolled around and the boys sat around the campfire, Betsy and I went to explore. From just outside the main entrance to the farm we crossed the road an wandered down a lane. I’m so please I decided to head in that direction because this is the view I was rewarded with.

Stood there, looking out over the North Yorkshire Moors, I really could have been the only person in the world. With only the sound of the surrounding wildlife and the warmth of the summer evening air around me the moment was just perfect.

I must have a hundred photos from our weekend at Golden Hill Farm, so keep a look out on my social media channels (all links available on the right) or sign up for email notifications to make sure you’re kept in the loop.

Linking up this week with Emma’s #CheckOutThatView linky where you will find some beautiful views from a wide range of places. An excellent resource for travel inspiration!

  1. Stunning photo. Yorkshire is an area I’m not really very familiar with. If you wanted to guest post for me at all, just give me a shout.
