Writing twenty facts about yourself is easy isn’t it?
But why would anyone want to know the colour of my eyes, or my favourite colour? (Green, purple)
Well actually, you might want to know stuff like that. So I’m aiming for some basic facts and some more interesting ones too.
Here are my 20 facts.
1. My two children are my world in its entirety. Everyone else is a welcome bonus but the boys are my reason for living.
2. I’m married to my best friend, even if he does drive me nuts sometimes.

3. On the subject of nuts, pistachios are my favourite.
4. I hate addressing paperwork / billing issues and leave that to my husband where I can.
5. I love all animals, but my favourite animal is my dog Betsy.
6. I love to sing. I’ll sing anything at all from chart music to jingles off the radio – if I know it, I’ll sing it. Rock music is my preferred genre, but not too heavy.

7. Blogging is a big part of my life. I have two blogs and this is the newer, quieter one.
8. I love snuggling up on the sofa to watch films with the boys after school.
9. Despite enjoying films, I don’t watch very much TV at all.
10. I’m a rubbish liar! I can’t even bluff during card games.
11. I know lots of people, but only have a handful of real friends. I like it that way.
12. I also like my own company and sometimes people are offended by that. I don’t mean to be rude, I just like spending time with my boys.
13. Thirteen is my favourite number.
14. I used to hate football but now I quite like it! We’re Manchester United fans in this house.
15. I dedicate a lot of my time to making my children’s lives ‘fun’. I plan activities, events through blogging, educational sessions and lots more for them. I cannot for the life of me understand parents that don’t do their best for their children.
16. I strive to be a good person. I probably try too hard.
Twenty facts is quite difficult …
17. I love my family. They’re not perfect, they’re somewhat ‘alternative’ in parts, but I would never change them.
18. I love wine. I probably drink too often really but since it’s my only vice (and it’s not every day!) I forgive myself!
19. I want to be a counsellor. I was inspired by a wonderful lady who was taken too soon and my ambition is to make a positive difference in people’s lives.
20. I hate driving, but would be lost without my car.
So there you have twenty rather randomly selected facts about me!
