Aldi’s 2018 camping range

You know how it goes. You nip into Aldi for a loaf of bread and you come out with six tea light holders and a pair of jodphurs, despite never having ridden a horse in your life.

Well this week Aldi’s camping range is launched so if, like us, you are fans of camping and all things outdoors you can get your loaf and something you’ll actually use!

We’ve been trying out a couple of items from the range which is available in store from tomorrow morning (28th June), and available to pre-order online now.

Aldi’s backpack gazebo is perfect for keeping the rain off the cooking area (never cook inside your tent!) Or for keeping the little ones shaded on sunny days. Last weekend we took it to a football tournament one of the boys was taking part in and it was great for providing shade. It’s not really lightweight at 7.7kg but it isn’t particularly heavy either.

We took our backpack gazebo to the boys’ football tournament this morning. It did a great job of keeping the sun off our sleeping baby and it kept the team cool inbetween matches too!

We’ll be taking it along to the festivals we’re attending this year too because I’m hoping the weather will be fab!

We had a look at the inflatable chair as well but sadly it didn’t have the wow factor we experienced with the gazebo as it punctured almost immediately. We had placed it on the same grassy field as the gazebo so I wouldn’t have expected it to puncture but I think it would fare better if it was placed on a large picnic blanket or mat (the new Aldi range offers both of those!).
