We had such a fun time at Digital Kids Show last year. The boys had an amazing time there in 2016 and spent a full day learning, having fun, meeting their idols and being thoroughly entertained. To see what we got up to last year, have a look at our video here.

This year is billed as being bigger and better than 2016 so the boys and I have had a look through the line up and picked our top ten things that we simply cannot miss!

Big B Statz

The boys watch Anthony’s videos all the time and are so excited at the chance to meet one of their YouTube favourites at Digital Kids Show! Anthony or Big B Statzplays a variety of video games and produces family friendly content for games such as Minecraft, Minecraft Xbox, Roblox, Pixel Gun 3D and much more. He’s very interactive with his fan base and uploads 2 videos EVERY day. Big B will feature on the Main Stage and will also be doing Meet & Greets with his fans. Other YouTubers at DKS this year are Oli White, Amy Lee and Ali-A… could it be any more exciting?!

Diversity

The frankly fantastic street dance performers Diversity will be on stage on both Saturday and Sunday and will no doubt make me go home wishing I was a better dancer! The boys are going to love Diversity’s moves and probably try them at home after the show. First aid kit at the ready!

StikBots

StikBots are the ultimate social sharing toy and allow you to create your very own stop-frame animation movies. These brightly coloured poseable figures with suction cup hands and feet can be stuck to any flat surface and this year they are joined by StikBot Pets. Use the cool app and green screen technology along with a host of amazing StikBot Accessories to film your own StikBot movie at the show, creating your very own StikBot film star. I think the boys will really get into this and we’ll probably end up buying some more StikBots of our own. Robot actually got the StikBot Studio at Christmas

FIFA

Attendees can play FIFA at Digital Kids Show. That right there will make my kids over-the-top excited. I mean, they can play it at home but it’s not that same, apparently. At Digital Kids Show they can show off their ‘skills’ (and won’t be forever shouting ‘Mum, Mum, look at this goal – top bins!’… whatever that means!)

Anki Overdrive

We saw this at DKS last year but it was right at the end of the day by the time we got around to the Anki stand. I’m sure the boys will make a beeline for Anki this year to have a longer turn at racing these amazing cars with artificial intelligence. They’re really quite impressive!

So those are just five of the many things we don’t want to miss at Digital Kids Show this year.

To make sure you don’t miss out either, grab your tickets here.
