Winter Wonderland returns to Manchester

My favourite part of the Christmas build up in recent years has been our annual visit to Winter Wonderland in Manchester.

I’ve written about it before, over on my family blog Grumpyishmum, and if you read that review you’ll know how enjoyable a trip to Winter Wonderland really is.

Returning for its third consecutive year from Sat 12 December 2015 – Sun 3 January 2016, Winter Wonderland Manchester will take over EventCity next to the Intu Trafford Centre in Manchester with group, family and individual tickets on sale now.

Their website says:

Join us for a fun filled action packed family visit. Sessions are operated at set times. Please see Opening Times for details. There are family rides, rides for the little ones, Inflatables and side shows.

The GREAT NEWS is that ALL rides and attractions are INCLUDED in your ticket price! This is AMAZING value for money!

Sessions are limited to set visitor numbers to allow you to enjoy your experience without overcrowding. It is therefore advisable that tickets are purchased early to secure your place at Winter Wonderland.

There’s also going to be a brand new show included in this year’s winter spectacular – a dazzling ice princess show! Add to that the usual fun of the circus, Santa’s grotto, the Sooty show and the fairground rides and you’ll be hard pushed to fit everything in during one visit!

Before you rush over to book your tickets, which include all rides and shows, why not enter to win a family pass courtesy of That Lancashire Lass and Winter Wonderland?

Just follow the simple steps in the box below and cross your fingers!

Good luck!

Winter Wonderland Family Ticket

  1. My Nintendo NES console from my boyfriend! It was a complete surprise and I’d told him how much I’d loved mine when I was younger so I knew he’d put thought into it too!

  2. My dolls’ house that my dad made from scratch, down to the last stick of furniture (he was a carpenter and joiner) – it was so beautiful and well made that I kept it all this time and with a little help from my dad to renovate it last year I was able to pass it on to my daughters last Christmas – a very special gift!

  3. Dare I admit this…..some tickets to watch NKOTB when I was about 9 years old, I was over the moon! 🙂

  4. When on holiday over Christmas in Spain, back in the Seventies, Mum and Dad bought me this fantastic castle, it was a construction set, with individual bricks, windows etc. it all fitted together in so many different ways and I also liked it better than Lego as you couldn’t see the connectors as it came with little covers to ‘square’ them off. Brilliant!

  5. My new bike (even as an adult you can’t beat the thrill of coming down stairs to find that Santa has brought a lovely shiny new bike)!

  6. The best gift I ever received was seeing the faces of the people opening their gifts….Christmas is a time for giving…receiving is not important

  7. I think my best present was my first tablet device as I wasn’t expecting it at all the OH took me completely by surprise!

  8. A family trip to Lapland – we forfeited Christmas gifts that year to share the magical experience instead!

  9. A sweet china ornament from my identical twin sister… because it was exactly the same as I had bought for her!!

  10. We never had a lot of money growing up and being the youngest of three we only got a few presents but one year when I was 4 I got a present I absolutely loved which was a nurses outfit as I loved and still love taking care of people. It was a complete set along with badge and nurses equipment I used to wear it all the time and was so disappointed when I grew out of it!

  11. Funnily enough, a passport after I lost mine. It was one of those things that I never got round to sorting out so the perfect gift!

  12. A bracelet with a baby carriage on it, I was overcome with emotion as I had just had my baby in the November, it took us a long long time to get her…this is the present that stands out to me in my memories x

  13. Not to sound cheesy but the best gift is the gift of giving and seeing the joy it brings to others. Nothing beats seeing the excited smiles on my kids faces when they are truly happy. The look on my daughters face when she unwrapped her special teddy bear that she had lost and thought gone forever will stay with me forever.

  14. the best gift i ever recieved for christmas was a lovely real leather handbag bought by my wonderful husband xx

  15. Always remember a toy piano when I was about 5,. my dad playing it with me (I’m 56 now so a distant memory!)

  16. Wooden Bunk beds with homemade bedding for my Tiny Tears dolls made by my mum and dad when I was little 🙂

  17. Never asked for anything but always had a lovely surprises , but I was most speechless when I had my first computer when I was about 12 ( Acorn election) my dad said its was priceless to see my face lit up when I opened my box
