Open auditions for Epstein Youth Theatre, Liverpool

We have been to many theatres but I think Epstein in Liverpool is one of my favourites. This year, it will launch a youth theatre and they are looking for talented young locals.

Aged between 14 and 19 and live in Merseyside? You are invited to attend open auditions on Saturday 8th July!

Successful applicants will attend weekly workshops where their talent will be fine tuned, ready for the stage.

Twice a year, the Epstein Youth Theatre will give performances at Epstein, led by the theatre’s experienced technicians.

Youth Theatre members, once  will be asked to pay a small termly fee of £10 per session, though there are four free scholarships available too, to try and ensure that the youth theatre is accessible to all.

Auditions for the Epstein Youth Theatre will be held on Saturday 8th July at Hope Street Limited for its first upcoming term which will commence in September.

All audition materials will be provided, there is no need to prepare anything, just go along and get ready to shine.

Theatre manager, Rebekah Pichilingi, said: “We all know that Liverpool is full to the brim of young talent, and our new Youth Theatre will welcome those individuals who wish to learn the craft of theatre. It will give them first-hand stage experience from leading theatre practitioners who will help develop crucial skills for young people interested in a career in the theatre, or just looking to have some fun and learn new skills. Everyone at The Epstein Theatre is looking forward to this exciting new venture and we cannot wait to meet our auditionees!”
